Dalbeattie Art Group is open to anyone with an active interest in the visual arts and crafts and meets on the second Thursday of the month from September to April in Lesser Town Hall, starting at 7.15pm.

Many of our members produce paintings, drawings and craftwork and display these at our annual exhibition each summer.  We also run a series of evening events during the autumn and winter months together with a limited number of art workshops supported by local artists.

There are currently over 40 members in the group, the majority living locally.  A warm invitation to join is extended to anyone with an interest in visual art and craftwork. Our membership fee is ÂŁ10 per year.  Membership entitles you to attend events at a reduced charge of ÂŁ2 per event and to exhibit and sell your work at our Summer Exhibition

Should you wish to become a member please contact our Honorary Secretary Telephone 01556 610455.

If you would like to attend an event as a guest or visitor, but not immediately become a member, you will be most welcome.  A nominal charge of ÂŁ3 is normally made at the door for non-members.
