The D&G HandyVan service provides safety and security services for the inhabitants of Dumfries & Galloway who need by reason of age, disablement, social or economic circumstances to remain as independent and physically active as they can be, residing in their own home for as long as they wish.

The services include small household repairs, fitting of security products such as smoke alarms, and door and window locks. The full range of services, and information about who is eligible can be found on the HandyVan web site.

D&G HandyVan is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO). It is based in Lockerbie, but serves the whole of the Dumfries & Galloway region.
