Dalbeattie Rotary Club meets every Thursday in the Kings Arms Hotel at 6pm unless otherwise specified.

The Rotary Club is not totally about fund raising; we enjoy themed evenings and have many visits to outside attractions. These leisure activities are paid for by members and guests, the results of all fundraising events go directly to the above good causes.

Dalbeattie Rotary Club is one of 32,000 Clubs worldwide which are spread throughout 200 countries. Current membership stands at 1.2 million.

The total number of Rotary Clubs in Britain & Northern Ireland is 1,838 with approximately 56,000 members. The Rotary motto is: ‘Service Above Self.

Your local Rotary Club is actively involved in funding and assisting with International relief projects. For instance, bringing shelter and safe drinking water to storm devastated Haiti and flood damaged regions of Pakistan. We also provide funding to our Rotary International Foundation Charity, which is working with partners towards finally eradicating polio from the world.

At a local level, the Club has an excellent track record of providing funding and professional expertise to assist many individuals and organisation within Dalbeattie and district fulfil their aspirations.
