Probus is a Club for retired men from all walks of life who regularly meet for a coffee and a talk from a visiting speaker.
Our recent speakers have covered many subjects and have included the Governor of HM Prison, Dumfries, the Abbot from the Samye Ling
Monastery and the archaeologist who worked on the Viking Hoard.
We also try to have a visit at least once a year with Dumfries House, Abbotsford House and the Scottish Parliament being memorable days out.
DALBEATTIE PROBUS meets in Dalbeattie Fire Station at 10.00 am on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month.
Why not come along and meet other retired men for some serious and light-hearted discussion?
